Madam.
Your favor of the 10th is at hand. No distinction is made between the races in the public schools of this State  All are admitted upon the same terms although in separate schools. 

We are anxious to drive ignorance from our midst whether covered with a white or black skin. 

Teachers are very much needed all over the state especially to take charge of colored schools, and we would be pleased with your list of names although there are many places where it would be extremely unpleasant for a northern woman. 

A society that could support teachers for a year and take them on
