Feby 14" 1868  "3" | Hill, J.B.F. E&M 19" L.S. 50. | Eutaw, Ala Feby 11th 1868 | Makes statement of facts in regard to his work under Bureau. States that he commenced school with his daughter "F C J Hill" on 1st day of Feby 1867, and continued till Mar. His daughter was paid up to Aug. he never was paid  Employed Mr. Vossetti at Mesopotamia at $50.00 and Mr. Vossetti has rec'd his months pay. Mrs. [[?]] now asks for reasons why they have not been paid. States that the Bureau owe him for 10 months service 5 months as a teacher. Referred to Sub. Asst Com'r. at  Demopolis for reply  "Filed"

Mr Vossetti - in the Index it says "Vassett", but I made a correction for it. I have seen Mr. P. Vossetti on other transcriptions for Alabama. That is how I knew the last name was not Vassett.
