My Dear Sir,
Your favor of 1st April just re'd is but one of many like demands that we are continually receiving – It will be impossible for us to increase our list of teachers the present school year. Our prospect of increase for next year will depend much upon the result of the close of the present year & the response to our present appeals for aid. I have forwarded your letter to Mr. Robt. R. Cersa, Sec of our Penn. Branch, which supports most if not all of such teachers as we have in Alabama. He will write you more in detail.
