Sir,
After reading yr. Circular; And not clearly comprehending all the points therein set forth - I have thought proper to make further inquiry of you. So that I may be thoroughly posted in every particular pertaining to my office as County Superintendent.
Do I understand that the Bureau will on application - pay rent for - or assist in building school houses for Colored schools?
When & where Teachers - are employed from the townships or localities of such schools?
I find for the census taken in this town that there are 190 Colr'd. & 230 white pupils of right age.
I need assistance for house rent or for building & locating a permanent school house for a colored school
