Miss Sarah A. Jemess,
Savannah, Ga.

Your favor of may 4th has been received. I would like very much to have you assist Mr. & Mrs. Wheeler at Eufaula and will give you the salary stated. In reference to transportation; you had better apply for it to the military authorities stating what it is for &c. If they cannot give it, you may apply to the secretary of the Association by whom you were sent in the first place to finance your transportation from Washington DC. which ever way you may decide best. I hope you will not disappoint us.

Very Respectfully &c.
C. W. Buckley
Supt. Education.
