To the Agent of Freedmens Bureau

[[stamp]] The National Archives of the United States [[/stamp]]

Sir,
I write to inquire if there is any general regulations with regard to freedmen's schools in Alabama which could be relied on in any part of the state.

I would be glad to know also what agent of the Bureau has jurisdiction in Jones County.

Columbus
Miss.

Transcription Notes:
"Feemster" seems to be a last name of a few families in Mississippi in the 1800's, per Google. "Feenster" less likely as a last name.
