Dear Sir: Enclosed you have Bill for Building Freedman's School House in this place. As you will see the Bill is made out to build a house 20 X 30 feet framed. I have a Teacher and one that is competent, and unless you can help them they can get no school. The price of Lumber causes the Bill to run up to what it is. Help them if you can they need it Let me hear from you soon and let me Know what to depend on. The Bill was made out by a practical workman and one that is willing to help the freedmen -
