Brown Tuskegee Sir, I write by todays mail to Mr. E.W. [[Pow?]] to employ you as teacher of the Colored school in Tuskegee at the Salary of seventy five dollars per month you will report the date at which you commence to teach under this arrangement directly to me as soon as possible, Mr Pow having stated his intention to go North, I write you directly that you may not lose time in case of his absence when my letter reaches Tuskegee.
