Office of the Secretary of Missions, 1122 Chestnut Street,
Philadelphia, May 20th 1868

My Dear Sir —
We would gladly send you a supply of our own publications to aid in the good work you have in hand were it in our power. We have however given away so freely that our funds are exhausted and our treasury overdrawn.

We have however sent you two hundred volumes of second hand books for the two Colored Sabbath Schools alluded to in your letter. These were given to us by a School purchasing a new library and as they consist of books not bearing our imprint you will please hold us from from all responsibillity as to their contents.

We hope they may in some measure add to the usefullness of the schools

Very Respy
Truly Yours
