[[stamp]] The National Archives of the United States [[/stamp]] Montgomery Ala. Dear Sir: Your favor of the 23th is at hand & I hasten to reply. Lt. Weirman wrote me from Mobile that you would visit Eufaula this week bringing a plan of a school building with you and I am disappointed in not seeing you. But concerning your letter. I am pleased with the plan you sent and think a building constructed on the same would answer very well for Eufaula. Lumber can be obtained here for $13.00 per M. so that a larger building than the one at Marion can be erected here for the same money. Lt. Weirman's application for an increased appropriation of $1000.00 for the house has been referred to me, with instructing
