We are getting on well with the School House  hope to be able to finish it by Christmas. Please write me about obtaining two stoves for the same. And will the Bureau furnish wood for the school?

Can you furnish me with Liquid Slate for black boards? if so please send therewith instructions for putting on the same. If you cannot furnish it, please let me know where I can obtain it.

I wonder if Capt. Buckley is sick. I can get no answer to my letters to him. Will you please inquire about it?
