I have the honor to transmit herewith the monthly report of schools of my Sub District for the month of November 1868, also the following special report in relation thereto.

In October when it was manifest that the State school machinery would not get into working order so as to be of any benefit the present season, I commenced organizing school; Since then I have got 3 schools into successful operation; each with thirty or more scholars and a teacher who has the certificate of the County Superintendent of Schools, and one with but 22 scholars which was for satisfactory reasons admitted.
