Our relations, both personal and official with the Chief Office of the Bureau, are of the most intimate and agreeable character, and we desire to maintain the frankest and most friendly relations with all its Agencies.

Upon application I have issued Commissions to one or two State Supt's of Education, accrediting them as the Inspectors of Schools of the Commission within their Districts, thus bringing them nearer to our teachers, and bringing us nearer to them. I shall be happy, if you desire it, to establish a similar relation with the Supt for Alabama.
