Supt. Education, Montgomery, Ala.

Dear Bro.
I send you herewith the commissions for which you asked which please forward to the parties with such explanation as you many think necessary. Mr. Steward left Nashville yesterday to report to you for Marion and you will be pleased with his work I am sure for we have tried him in Tenn. I am but just home from the Southern tour and have hardly had time to look about to see what can be done. We hope to send out teachers still. The building of permanent school houses I deem very important and hope to see some built in Ala.

Very Truly Yours
E.M. Cravath

P.S. Should the Bureau be able to support more teachers I can secure & send you good ones,

[] you will please explain to these ladies that their support is not affected by these commissions.[]
