in answer to your communication in refrence to the Establishment of a Colored Scool I will Say there is no Suitable Building that could Be got for such purposses at present Neither could there Be a teacher hired at this place.  the Citizens are very much opposed to teaching Such Scools  I think the freedmen interested enough to take an interest in such an enterprise Believe they would do all in their power to advance the interests of a Colored Scool By donation or otherwise
