We endured the hotel, till to-day noon, we dined at our new boarding place. We have at least found quarters with a German family, a newly married couple. We expect something wholesome now, though it may be plain. As near as I can learn, the white folks generally, gave leagued together to prevent our finding board among them, thus to drive us from town, if they could. Wish they had no more power for evil than that.
Mrs. Adams joins with me in kind regards to you.
Yours Truly
