Sir,
Herewith I send report for May. A new feature in it is a sabbath school of forty four scholars; two more schools will be started tomorrow.
I hope to soon establish one or two day schools in the country some twenty miles distant.
Will write you definitely about the matter as soon as I can. I flatter myself that the schools in this immediate vicinity are doing well. Have not yet received money for rent of school houses for April.

Very respectfully,
Charles C. Arms

P.S. Mr. Allen Williams is in town and will be absent from his school one week; this makes three weeks during which time he has not taught since the first of April
