has been assisting him all this time in the School. I have put out a contract for the building of a neat and comfortable house in Bluffton for church & school for the Freedmen. The land is deeded to Colored trustees selected from different Churches. The School is for all colored people without any denominational distinctions. It will cost $1500 exclusive [[strikethrough]] besides [[/strikethrough]] painting and plastering it It is to be completed under written contract by 1st August. I am greatly obliged to you
