Dear Sir.
As I am being swindled by the Supt of Education. Please allow me, through this medium to make complaints to you, by virtue of authority from Mr. C. W Buckley I opened a School near Dover Lee Co. Ala. for the education of colored children on the 4th day of last March and have taught up to the present, giving universal satisfaction to the Patrons, to all of which he has received testimonials time and again, from his Agent - here Rev. W. G. Pruitt Prin. Col. School.
I have not heard from Mr Buckley since his first letter Authorizing me to open a school, and stating to me that I would receive compensation for my services from the Government.
Now Sir, I humbly request that you give the case some attention, and I have no doubt but what you will arrest great [[?]] that are being perpetrated against the Government.
Hoping to receive early consideration
I am dear Sir with much respect &C
Thomas W. Crowder
