They begin to show evident signs of improvement, & the influence of the school will increase if it is maintained for some time without interruption. Mrs. Hampton, the lady now employed as a teacher, is entirely dependent upon the small salary which I have promised her, & it is very desirable that she should be regularly paid. Unless otherwise directed, I will continue to make reports to Mr. Arms.

Your early attention to the settlement of the amounts now due Miss Bird, for Jan. Feb. & March, will much oblige
