Rev. Wm. Hamilton, the blind man, with whom you met on the cars on your return from this place last fall, visited our school a short time since, & spent one night at our house. I found him very pleasant & interesting.
He seemed much pleased with our success here, had visited several prominent families belonging to the Methodist Church & assured us that he had heard nothing but the finest expressions in reference to our work.
I presume you will have heard from our school through Genl. Swayne, ere this reaches you. Maj. Phelps joins me in fond remembrances to you.

Yours cordially
C.M. Hopson
