Dear Sir;
Your communication in answer to one sent by me to Gen. Swayne came direly to hand some days ago.

In reply the young ladies; Miss Lucinda L. Diffenderfer and Miss Marion Kirkwood, through the same course as their former communication wish to return their thanks both to yourself and the Gen. for the promptness with which you acted on, and the favor you conferred by replying this soon to their application.

And now in as few words as possible their futher wishes, which are, that you consider their application before you    till such time in the fall as your new regulations take effect. They would also at your earliest convenience like to know something of what your school system will be. Also what will be the probably remuneration
