advises that I should write you on the subject of plans, &c. As you may not know why these gentlemen make this request, I will say that it is probably owing to the fact that I have done a great amount of this kind of work, (designing school buildings and colleges) much more probably than has been done by any architect in the country.

With this explanation permit me to say that I shall be happy to receive any orders for such work which you may see fit to send me, and for any work done, shall charge the same as I charge for similar work at home.

I can send you sketches, or tracings of buildings which I have designed, in advance of regular plans, if you desire it. I will send you my "Illustrated Catalogue" with Supplement, which will give you some idea of what I am doing in this way, &c. &c.
