officers - Is not that a suitable lot?
We have made a special appeal to friends for Mobile, but money is not hard to get that we really have not much hope.

I think there will be little difficulty in arranging between the Secretary so as to place all our work in your State under Mr. Cravath at Cincinnati. Will you please furnish me a list of the places and the teachers at points now occupied by teachers whom I have sent to you and send a duplicate to Rev. E. M. Cravath?

I send a copy of resolutions passed at an informal meeting of Workers for the Freedmen. These resolutions are to come up for a more formal and a joint action, if it may be, on the part of all the Societies at a meeting to be held next month. Your opinion upon them - more particularly the 4th - will help us in reaching conclusions in this matter.
