Transportation of Waring I suppose Mitchell will attend to.

No vouchers yet rec'd. from Col. Callis for the $252.- Sorry you could not see the way clear to pay us for the house as well as its removal. Really I cannot see why we should not receive back the money paid the Govt. for the house itself $250, on its being burned as, [[strikethrough]] as [[/strikethrough]] for the amt expended in removing & re erecting it. The one is materials alone - the other materials & labor. The long delay too seems a pity. In Jany or so we could have got
