for the month of September 1867.  Will you please give the same you approval.  Col. Beecher, who has just visited us, is acquainted with all the circumstances in the case, and desired me to refer you to him in regard there to.
I might add in regard to our request for transportation that we do not perfere to leave our school, but we have been here nearly two years, and are beginning to feel the need of rest.  This is especially the case with my wife whose health has been so much impaired by the wearing work of teaching in this climate, that unless she soon goes north for a long vacation, I may permanently lose
