Two hundred of which was paid by the Bureau to J.D. Vandeventer, who furnished the materials to build said house; and the materials so furnished by him were very good. The remainding two hundred dollars, were paid by the colored folks, of the neighborhood. The land on which this building is erected cost $20.00, but it is valued at $40.00 making a total value of building and land $440.00. This building has also six windows, - these on each side, with a large door in the north end of the house. The windows have 12 lights each 10 x 12 inches.
