Sir
I have the honor to transmit herewith Report of building rented from Shade Toodle for the month of Feb and March 1870
Mr Toodle is a colored Man and the money received for the rent he used to put a floor in the building and to board up the gable end. He now informs me that he is willing to give a deed for the building and one acre of Land, upon which the building is. He will deed the property for Educational purposes as long as they will use it for the Colored School and when it seases it be used for Colored School the Property is to revert back to him or Heirs
The building is on a beautiful grove and is convenient to the patrons the only thing it is hardly large enough
