1  None

2  At least four Schools in each County, one at each County seat and the other three at points equidistant in each County.

3  About Fifteen Hundred Col'd children and poor whites in my Sub District, but for accurate information would respectfully refer you to the Supt's Report on file in Comptrollers Office at Montgomery Ala.

4  Schools might be organized in Calhoun County at or near Jacksonville, Cross Plains, White Plains and Oxford in the counties Clebourne Cherokee, and Baine Schools at each County Seat, and for the most suitable location for other schools in said counties I am unable at present to report.

5  Could not say how many Teachers would be required untill schools would be located.

6  I should think that competent Teachers could be employed at $50 per month.

7  Northern Teachers could be safely employed in any part of my Sub District, but not
