9.- They will not be able at the utmost to pay more than 50 cts per month for each pupil attending school, in the average.

12.- Very little is done at present from the fact that Freedmen at this season of the year have not the means.

13. They are not.

14. By securing means from the State or Educational Societies, and placing the whole matter in the hands of a Superintendent.

15. With the exception of the Am. Miss. Association I know of no others.  The Agent of that society lives at Selma.
