carpenters labor is perhaps too high considering the materials expended; but the work was mostly in small pieces about the building and was doubtless troublesome in detail and required longer time than would be required by the expenditure of a much larger quantity of material in ordinary work.  
The sum of five hundred and thirty-six & 45/100 dollars is in my opinion a just allowance for the whole work as exhibited to me by Mr Halligan.
