agencies, industrial organizations, unions, artists, and regular cable producers. In the past year, more hours of programming were produced by these types of groups than by all of the major networks in prime time.

WHAT ARE THE FACILITIES?

Our current production facilities include:

- Three Sony Trinicon studio cameras, all with Canon zoom lenses
- Grass Valley 1600 Series Production Switcher with Chroma Key and 32 special effects
- Sony 2850A Videocassette recorders with RM-400s for recording
- Sony 2860's for dubbing
- CVS 504B Time-base corrector with direct color processing
- 3M Drop-out Compensator
- Thompson CSF Image Enhancer
- 3M 3016 Character Generator with Multiple fonts and 300-page memory
- Broadcast black and white graphics camera
- Teac 16 x 4 audio mixing with equalization
- Reel-to-reel and audio cassette recording and playback 17-line telephone interface for live phone-in programs and telethons
- Use of Votrak automated computation of telephone calls for instant, on-air surveys.

These facilities are housed in a 20 by 40 foot studio with a completely equipped lighting grid. Dressing and shower facilities are available.

By May, 1978 the Center will have three Norelco Video 80 broadcast-quality cameras. These innovative, low-light color television cameras feature 2/3-inch plumbicon tubes, prism optics, and 10 to 100mm motorized Schneider zoom lenses. A fourth Norelco Video 80 equipped for on-location shooting will be added this summer.
