WHAT ELSE IS UNIQUE ABOUT THE CENTER?

To help you to produce your shows, Automation House has:

- 20 by 90 foot main meeting hall
- 20 by 50 foot reception/meeting hall
- 20 by 30 foot conference room
- complete in-house kitchen facilities for catering.

Automation House is frequently used by clients for luncheons, seminars, board meetings and large screenings. Each floor is wired to the main television control room. With the arrival of the new, mobile, low-light cameras, the Center will be able to expand its television production capability beyond the studio. Thus, any of the rooms in Automation House will also become available for videotaping and your meeting can go out live over cable in Manhattan. This mobile production facility will also be available for multiple camera shoots outside of Automation House.

Our present post-production facilities include:

- Sony 2860 Videocassette Editors with RM 430 Editor Controller. They provide improved forward and reverse search capability and frame accurate editing. They have direct FM dubbing for the cleanest tape-to-tape transfers yet available on 3/4-inch tape

- 3M Processing Amplifier with drop-out compensator

- Shintron Post-Production Switcher with special effects

- Character Generator with two fonts and 24-page memory

- Broadcast black and white graphics camera

- Eight Channel audio mixing with equalization

- Automated Sony 8650 VTR for ½-inch to videocassette editing
