Biographies of the Principals of the Artists' Television Network

was based. She is Video Editor for the [[underline]]SoHo Weekly News[[underline]] and contributes to such other publications as the [[underline]]Village Voice[[underline]] and [[underline]]Arts Magazine[[underline]].

    She has been working in videotape since 1971, and her work has been shown at The Kitchen, Anthology Film Archives, Global Village, the Everson Museum, the Berlin Film Festival, and at colleges and universities, as well as on cable television. As an artist she was included in the volume, [[underline]]Video Art[[underline]] by Schneider and Korot, and in the video issue of [[underline]]Arts Magazine[[underline]]. With Bob Wiegand, she is completing a program on India, one of the first commissioned for public television by the Rockefeller Foundation.

KAREN MOONEY, Program Coordinator
    Karen Mooney has a solid background in the area of organizing and coordinating major projects in video and television. She was Project Coordinator for the very successful "Ten Cities Public Television Workshops," in which ten public television stations and independent producer/artists were introduced to the possibilities of the new cassette equipment and to station/independent producer program production. She was Program Coordinator for the Second and Third Annual Documentary Festivals at Global Village, for which she solicited, exhibited and handled the publicity for the more than 100 programs shown.
    A founding member of ATN, she is its Program Coordinator and has assisted in the production of several of its programs. Further, she has been the Co-Director of the Intensive Video Workshop at Global Village since 1975. She is also Managing Editor of the quarterly magazine, [[underline]]Videoscope[[underline]]. And she has worked in a production capacity on several program prepared for broadcast on public television stations.
