Dear Mr. Casas:

Your work has been selected to be part of "Chicano Expressions" - Visual Artists, the first comprehensive exhibition of Mexican-American visual art to be presented in the Northeast. The exhibition will be taking place at INTAR Gallery, located at 420 West 42nd Street, New York City from April 14 through July 31, 1986. The series includes four component exhibitions, two symposiums and a catalogue. The four exhibitions are:

Visual Artists (April 14 - May 2, 1986)
Posters & Urban Iconography (May 12 - May 30, 1986)
Murals & Public Art (June 9 - June 27, 1986)
Home Altars (June 9 - July 31, 1986)

The work selected is Pinto, Humanscape 134, 72"x96"

We are in the process of completing plans for a tour of the exhibit to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington and San Antonio. The show could be touring for a year. When we arrive at the final dates we will send you the information.

For the catalogue, we need a B&W 8"x10" glossy photo of the piece by December 15, 1985, and a paragraph about your work.

We will also need for you to crate your work & send it to INTAR Gallery by April 7, 1986. We will reimburse you for reasonable expenses when we receive the receipt.

I feel very excited about the scope and power of the show and I am looking forward to working with you on this project.

If the above constitutes your understanding of our agreement, please sign one copy and return it to INTAR.

Cordialmente,
