Dear Mr. Casas,

CONGRATULATIONS! A panel of your peers has selected you to receive an award at the Seventh Annual Tribute to the Chicano Arts. The ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 27, 1986 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Thirty Auditorium on the beautiful campus of Our Lady of the Lake University.

The Tribute is the only program in the City of San Antonio and the State of Texas which exclusively recognizes and honors the outstanding achievements of contemporary Hispanic artists, Hispanic art programs, individuals who have contributed to the Hispanic arts through service, and businesses who have contributed to the Hispanic arts. The Tribute is a program which enhances the image and "credibility" of the Hispanic artist, promotes the idea that Hispanic artists and Hispanic art programs belong in the mainstream of the art community, and creates a unity among Hispanic artists and Hispanic art agencies. In addition, the San Antonio community, which is fifty-four percent Hispanic, is given the opportunity to applaud and take pride in the accomplishments of the Hispanic arts.

Please complete the enclosed form and return in the self-addressed envelope by September 5, 1986. Our hope is to make the evening a very memorable and rewarding experience.

The Tribute is sponsored by Centro Cultural Aztlan, the City of San Antonio, the Texas Commission on the Arts, Target Stores, Express/News Corporation, KTFM/KTSA, KMOL-TV 4, and H.E.B.

Once again, CONGRATULATIONS ON ALL YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS!

Sincerely,
[siganture]
