THE LATIN AMERICAN SPIRIT
ART AND ARTISTS IN THE UNITED STATES, 1920-1970

"The Latic American Spirit: Art and Artists in the United States, 1920-1970," the first critical presentation of 20th century, Latin American artists as a group, will be on view at The El Paso Museum of Art from March 5 to April 23, 1989. The exhibition, sponsored by Philip Morris Companies Inc., was organized by The Bronx Museum of the Arts in New York. 

El Paso has been selected as one of only five cities to host The Latin American Spirit. The exhibition will be coming directly from The Bronx Museum of the Arts, and after its El Paso venue will travel to San Diego, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Vero Beach, Florida. 

The El Paso Art Museum Association Members Guild and Philip Morris cordially invite you to attend a press preview for The Latin American Spirit, at the museum on Thursday, March 2, 1989. The preview will commence at 11:00 a.m. Complete information about the exhibition and associated museum programs will be available. 

In addition, artists represented in the exhibition will be in attendance to discuss their work, and the importance of the exhibition. Following the preview the press will be given a tour of the exhibition. A light brunch will also be served.
