The Latin American Youth Center serves youth, ages 12-24, from over forty countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa and the United States. The Center's purpose is to identify the needs of youth and develop programs to address those needs. For the past seven years, programs have focused upon employment, training, job placement, social services, arts, humanities, delinquency prevention and small business development. As a result of this work, the organization has become a comprehensive service center for Latino youth in Washington, DC.
