ABOUT THE ARTIST

Naúl Ojeda is an Uruguyan artist whose unique woodcut prints have been exhibited all over the world. He studied at the School of Fine Arts at the University of Uruguay. In the late 1960's, he travelled and studied throughout Europe and South America.

In addition to his numerous gallery showings, his illustrations have been commissioned by such publications and organizations as the Washington Post, Las Americas and the Letelier-Moffitt Memorial Foundation. This woodcut was specially designed to commemorate the 20th anniversary season of the Living Stage Theatre Company.

Naúl Ojeda currently lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife Penelope and their son Nicholas.
