[[Tab]]On behalf of the Latin American Studies Program and George Mason University, I would like to thank you for preparing the exhibit on "Uruguay:  Art, Exile and Culture". The exhibit of your work and that of your colleagues was part of the Seventh Annual meeting of the Middle Atlantic Council of Latin American Studies (MACLAS) conference which took place at George Mason University from March 21 to 22 of this year. The conference was attended by over ninety professionals and academics who repeatedly expressed their appreciation of the excellence of the works displayed. The MACLAS Executive Committee is particularly grateful for your efforts and generosity in making available this important exhibition to the membership of the organization.
