Dear Friends:
The Johns Hopkins University Spring Fair, 3400 On Stage, is actively soliciting members of the University and surrounding communities for participation in the Arts and Crafts division of the Fair. All types of original and handcrafted arts and crafts are welcome for display and sale. The exhibition will run from 10:00 A.M. until sunset on April 30 and May 1 and 2, 1976. If last year's record crowds are any indication, we can expect an attendance of 75,000 to 100,000 people.

The comprehensive fee of $20 entitles you to an assigned 6' by 10' display area with snow fencing on the Homewood Campus for any or all of the three days. If, by chance, rain prevents exhibition for more than one day, $10 will be refunded by the Fair Committee. If the Fair is rained out for all three days, the full $20 entry fee will be refunded.

This year we request that you attach a photograph of some of your work. The quality and size of the print makes no difference, our aim is merely to exclude non-hand made articles. Fine arts, including photographic displays will of course be accepted.

A reasonable effort will be made to protect your personal property, but The John Hopkins University and the Fair Board cannot be responsible for property lost, stolen, vandalized, or missing. The snow fence backing will help limit public access to the rear of the booths. We must request that you provide your own display equipment, tables, chairs, etc.

As in past years, applications will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. We therefore urge you to submit the enclosed application along with your check as soon as possible, but at least before April 1, 1976. Any applications received after this date will be accommodated if space permits, however we expect a good response, so mail early.

If you have any questions regarding details please do not hesitate to call the Office of Student Activities, (301) 336-3300 ext. 240.

We look forward to seeing you in the Spring.
