Naúl Ojeda was born in Uruguay where he trained at the University of Uruguay, School of Fine arts in Montevideo from 1958 to 1966. He has lived in France, Chile, Mexico, and since 1975 he has been residing in the Washington, DC area. 

Woodcuts and linocuts are Ojeda's preferred media. He prints by hand and generally makes editions of 25 to 30 copies.
