Dear Mr. Ojeda:

My name is Barbara Lucero Sand and I am the registrar working with senior curator, Andrew Connors on the upcoming La Luz: Contemporary Latino Art in the United States exhibition. I understand from Andrew you will be loaning the woodcut print The Witnesses. In order to start the formal process I have enclosed a set of loan documents for you to fill in and sign. Please return one copy to our office in the envelope provided. As you are aware, one of the most important areas to fill in on the loan is the description and declared value.

If you have not already provided a black & white portrait and a color transparency of the artwork I would appreciate these at your earliest convenience or it that is not possible could you please direct me to whom I might contact to obtain these images. These will be published in the exhibition catalog, which will go to press in the very near future.

I will also be calling you very soon to make the shipping arrangements, as we will need to install this exhibition at the beginning of August.

If you have any questions I can be reached at (505) 246-2261 extension 116 (I am currently sharing an office and phone with Andrew), by fax at the above number or via Andrew's e-mail address as follows: aconners@hcc.state.nm.us.

I look forward to working with you and hopefully getting the chance to meet you at the opening of the Center in October.

Sincerely,

Barbara Lucero Sand
Registrar
