Mr. Basker Vashee
address

Dear Basker:

As you must recall, [[strikethrough]] we [[/strikethrough]] my wife & I talked with you about having a show of pictures on [[strikethrough]] Chile [[/strikethrough]] Allende's Chile in the event that we travelled to Holland this summer to visit my daughter.

We have finally made definite plans about our trip to Holland. We will [[strikethrough]] arrive [[/strikethrough]] be in Holland from May 24 [[strikethrough]] and leave on [[/strikethrough]] to July 5. We want very much to try and show the Chile pictures either in Rotterdam or in Amstemdam. We hope you can talk with Jorge Arrate or other members of the Chilean group there and make definite arrangements for a show. We can bring 30 to 50 pictures on different aspects of the Allende years. If there is special interest in particular topics or incidents, we would like to know and could develop the pictures that relate to those themes. We hope you will be able to speak to the people as soon as possible and decide if such a show is possible, so we will be able to develop the pictures. The pictures would be 11 inches by 14 inches. We wouod have to mount the pictures in Holland - on cardboard and we would ask for the pictures back at the end of the show. We would prefer a show at the beginning of our stay in Holland because we would like to go on to do some travel. I hope you will be able to talk with the Chileans and show them the xerox booklet that we gave you when you were here in Washington. If you want to, you can give them our address and have them write directly to us here in Arlington.

Thanks for your help
