MEMBER'S ACTIVITIES

Carolyn Pomponio won Second Award in Printmaking in the 34th Annual Grace Episcopal Church Art Show in The Plains, Virginia. Judges were Sarah H. Yerkes, Dean, Corcoran School of Art and Steven Kruvant, Assistant Professor, Drawing & Painting, Corcoran School of Art.

Roslyn Latto had a work accepted into the Annual Springfield Art Guild Juried show at the FDIC Building. She also received an Honorable Mention for one of two watercolors included in the Vienna Art Guild Show at the BAnk of Vienna - "Festival of Arts".

Carole Margaret Shoemaker will be exhibiting recent paintings, "Still Life & Landscapes", at the Alexandria City Hall Art Gallery, June 1-30, 1981.

The Arlington Arts Center was well represented in the 11th Annual Juried Exhibition at the Athenaeum in Alexandria, May 5-27, 1981. Laura Peery received the 1st place award in Sculpture.

Carole Gigliotti received an Honorable Mention in Graphics.

Jim Quinn received an Honorable Mention in Painting.

Other Arts Center tenants included in the show were, Alice Mostoff, Kate Curry, Jeanne Mitnick, and Allen Pitts. The exhibition was juried by David Tannous.

OPEN LIFE WORKSHOP

The Arlington Arts Center hosts a weekly open life workshop Tuesdays, 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.
