Later

We have just returned from tea with Mrs Blackburn and we had a very pleasant time. They gave me a darling little kitten which will be a pleasure to us all summer.
Mr Haselence is coming again tonight for dinner. he says he is going to bring me a present. I expect a book. So you see altogether we keep pretty busy. I do hope all is going well with you and that you begin to feel rested and like enjoying yourself. I enclose another check for $50.00. I am so glad to know that every one is so nice to you. It was good of Mrs Brown to give you a picture. So sorry to hear that Mrs Montrose is ill. poor Lizzie will be all upset again. I will send them some postals but I haven't had a minute to write yet except to you. And I have a lot of letters to write. I will write most times from Paris. I write them with love from B. Lovingly yours Betty.
