alright here. I should have written you that night - but I was invited out for dinner and it has taken me two days to get unpacked - cleaned up and stocked up with supplies - so forgive my delay.

The note I scratched to you on the train, I was unable to mail when we arrived in Chicago. we were shunted onto a side track and that was that. On Monday, I though of you going to Pasadena and regretted not being with you. I hope you enjoyed the Huntington Museum.

Please give me the names and addresses of Robs brothers. I want to invite them. Every one was so good to me - thanks to you and Rob. I will write to (Cap't) Is this correct? and Mrs Mare - they were sweet - I hope I may see them again some time.

Please give Rob and Dad a b.i.g. kiss for me. As for you a hug until it hurts. I shall try to keep in close touch with you by mail at least. Now I must write my little Ona and try to explain why I could not come to see her.

Until next time then. Devotedly
Cousin Bess.-
