Lulette dearest,

Your are such a dear to write me often and such nice chatty letters.  I feel as though I were right there with you and Rob when I read them.  It is grand that you are painting and I wish I could see the results.  You will never regret the time you spend that way.

As for me, I know I have been bad about writing.  It seems that I have more than I can do and it is not because I do not think of you.  In the first place I have had company all the time and you know there is a lot to do around a place - especially when I do things like building a swimming pool, which was finished yesterday.  I wish
