Cousin Wayne McKenney spent a week with me - he motored up from Florida. Mr. Proctor and his son have been here and his daughter Jean and her hyusband [[husband]] have just gone.

Warren's mother has just returned from Italy and she had a very happy time, but it will be hard for her now, I fear. The summer passes so quickly - another month and it is all over. It seems not worthwhile to keep up a place.
