Lulette dearest,

You are in my mind and heart so much just now as we begin to think of Christmas. I know how you long to be with the babies and dear Jean. If you could only fly on for a few days it would be such a comfort to you and perhaps I also could have a glimpse of you.

It seems quite a while since I have heard from you. I hope it is because you are so occupied with your art work that you cannot spare a minute.

My plans of going to Italy seem doubtful at present as conditions in Italy are not so good this year. I am
